I mentioned here that my original concept for a Bikers of the Lost Ark theme began with an idea for a single gallery, but that this idea soon expanded and diversified to inspire several additional ones.
And here's one of them - a fantastical scenario featuring some bikers unexpectedly encountering two ancient, mystical temples, one in the Middle East, the other in the Far East, but both of them apparently created entirely of gold by an unknown long-vanished race of supremely-skilled architects and illuminated internally by a radiant golden incandescence. Suddenly, while the bikers are exploring the temples, one of these splendorous edifices' timeless, ageless architectas appears before them, in both temples simultaneously - but that is not their only surprise. For, lo and behold, he is wearing a black leather biker jacket, in deference to his modern-day guests, but is also richly adorned in a fine filigree tunic of lustrous spun gold dating from his own resplendent realm, and without further ado he graciously invites them to stay awhile within his aureate abode. But what dark secrets are hidden yet hinted at by the crimson scar that disfigutes his handsome face? Are the bikers about to discover to their supreme cost the terrible truth behind Shakespeare's oft-(mis)quoted assertion: All that glisters is not gold"?
