FROM WONDERLAND TO DREAMLAND - WHITE KNIGHT WANDERLUST

An AI-generated image of the White Knight newly arrived in Dreamland from Wonderland, image created by RebelBikerDude usingAdobe Firefly

One of the most popular bikers from the Wonderlanders MCC based upon viewer feedback is the White Knight, originally from Looking-Glass World but spending much of his time nowadays in Wonderland close by, and represented in my blog by not one but two galleries devoted to him. The first one (click here to view it) consisted of images generated by the AI image-generation program Grok from the set of verbal prompts supplied to it by me; the second (click here to view it) consisted of images generated by another such program, Magic Studio, from the same set of prompts. Both programs produced seriously vibrant, dynamic, and dazzling, multicoloured pictures.

Some time later, I began experimenting with the creation of short biker-themed AI video clips, using Adobe Firefly as my chosen AI video-generation program, and one of the subjects that I chose for this experimentation was the White Knight. In view of how vivid the still images produced by Grok & Magic Studio had been, I was very surprised to discover that even though I used the same verbal prompts with Adobe Firefly as I'd used with those previous two programs, its output of 12 short video clips was very different visually. Its clips' backgrounds were much more muted, hazy, pastel-shaded, languorous, decidedly dream-like, in fact, with only the White Knight and his motorbike appearing sharply defined. Yet in spite of their very distinctive, fragile beauty, the only occasion that witnessed my using them was when I was compiling a gallery composed entirely of video clips produced by me using Adobe Firefly, and in which I'd therefore included four of these White Knight clips (click here to access that gallery).

Consequently, in order to make amends for my shameful neglect of such lovely artworks, I recently decided to create a third White Knight gallery, but this time devoted specifically to these 12 Adobe Firefly clips of him, intermingled with screenshots of their most eyecatching frames. So here it is. Its theme is the White Knight, a biker renowned for his restless wanderlust, forever in search of new adventures, having journeyed outside Wonderland to pay a visit to the neighbouring realm of Dreamland.

Incidentally, be sure to keep your eyes open for the many strange dream creatures that cautiously peek out or boisterously gambol from the woodland edge as the White Knight rides by (one of them, standing on the right-hand side in the picture that opens this present gallery) looks remarkably like a Tasmanian thylacine!), as well as the spectacular varicoloured flowers and trees.

INTRODUCING THE BAZILLION BIKER BROS OF PHANTASMAGORIA! - GALLERY #1: IMAGES IN PHOTO-REALISTIC PAINTING STYLE

An AI-generated image of one of Phantasmagoria's Bazillion Biker Bros amidst just a few of the countless - and totally unaccountable! - inhabitants of this fantastical realm; image created by RebelBikerDude using Dream Lab

I'm a Brit, so I was pleased to learn today what was for me an entirely new New World word - 'bazillion', an informal North American term referring to an exceedingly large number of anything, so large in fact that the items so described are to all intents and purposes innumerable, incalculable, countless. Consequently, as will now be seen, it's the ideal (and also ideally alliterative) word for describing my latest AI-generated biker characters - so without further ado, please welcome the Bazillion Biker Bros of Phantasmagoria, an extraordinarily exquisite realm occupying one of the Bikerverse's most magical planets!

My inspiration for this truly incalculable, countless, innumerable contingent of biker brothers came from my Disney-influenced childhood, and specifically from a series of Disney comic-strip sibling villains known as the Beagle Boys (back in those far-distant days, they only appeared in Disney comic-strips in newspapers and Disney comic-books, not in its animated shorts or full-length animated movies, but they did eventually appear in the hugely-expanded Disney universe of animated TV series - notably DuckTales - and DVDs). Invariably masked and amusingly inept, these anthropomorphic canine criminals usually appeared as a trio (but occasionally in larger numbers, up to ten at a time), and soon found themselves arrested and locked behind prison bars, only for another, identical trio of Beagle Boys to appear on the scene and take over where their now-imprisoned brethren had left off, but with the same inevitable incarceration result, upon which yet another identical BB trio would appear, and so on. No-one knew how many Beagle Boys there were in total, and apart from each one having his own unique prison number embroidered upon his red sweater, there was no way of telling them apart anyway.

I liked the idea of a band of biker brothers of seemingly unlimited number, but I made some changes to the Beagle Boys concept by making every Bazillion Biker Bro physically and behaviourally distinct (a few of them even sport wings, one of whom, moreover, prefers riding horses to motorbikes!), and turning them into heroes rather than villains. Also, and as readily seen in this blog, I've always been a fan of the magical realms of L. Frank Baum's Oz and Lewis Carroll's Wonderland (plus Looking-Glass World), so why not locate the Biker Bros in a truly fantastical, psychedelic, inconceivably surreal realm of their own,  populated by all manner of indescribably strange & thoroughly incongruous inhabitants so outrageously bizarre, grotesque & unimaginably outlandish, not to mention more than a little macabre, monstrous, or even downright menacing in some cases, that the afore-mentioned Oz & Wonderland would seem positively straight-laced and sober in comparison!

So that's what I did, and here is what I plan to be the first of many galleries devoted to Phantasmagoria and its limitless & quite literally fraternal biker brotherhood. Dream Lab's generation of this weird and wacky realm's equally OTT occupants has truly surpassed itself in its imaginative largesse, especially given the fact that my verbal prompts deliberately provided virtually no descriptive details, choosing instead to allow this AI image-generation program free reign on how they would look. And as I'm sure you'll agree, the results are truly spctacular in their diversity and detail, as well as exquisitely beautiful in their splendour and colour, exemplified by this first gallery's images, which are all presented in the style of lush photo-realistic paintings.

(Incidentally, the final image uploaded here, which appears immediately above this present paragraph, exhibits a rather more comic-strip/line-drawing art style than the much more photo-realistic painting style exhibited by all of this gallery's other images. This in turn gave me the idea of creating a second, companion gallery in which all of the Bazillion Biker Bros and other inhabitants of Phantasmagoria represented in it are portrayed in a comic-stri/line-drawing art style, thus encouraging viewers to compare and contrast the two galleries' images. So look out for that second, companioin gallery soon!)
