Imagine a world whose exterior consists of liquid glassy crystals that continuously change their shape, form, colour & consistency, and which, therefore, although very beautiful to look at during a brief visit, is wholly inhospitable to any form of life attempting to exist on a permanent basis upon its mercurial ever-transforming surface. Instead, a fully-inhabitable & hospitable alternative world has been created within its cavernous interior. This might seem like an impossible feat - but those who achieved it are no ordinary craftsmen.
For this planet, Vitreosa, popularly dubbed the Glass Planet on account of its glassy, crystalline exterior (but not to be confused with a long-abandoned hedonistic crystal world that I documented in an earlier gallery here), is the adopted abode of the Bikerverse's most talented artists, artisans, artificers, architects & numerous other exceptionally-skilled biker craftsmen - collectively yielding an indescribably vibrant hub of creativity, a veritable hive of industry, in fact. And it was countless generations of this hive's biker 'bees' who worked together tirelessly during eons of unceasing labour until the internal realm of wonder in which they now live had been hewn from Vitreosa's subterranean heart.
Today's gallery here on my blog presents a selection of pictures from one of the NightCafe Bikers' innumerable albums of images chronicling their Bikerverse-spanning travels, this particular album charting a visit by a group of them to Vitreosa. Here they not only explored its unique metamorphic exterior but also encountered some of its interior world's resident creative geniuses, watched spellbound as they painstakingly trained their apprentices & their own children too to become a future generation of master creators & surveyed in hushed amazement a mind-boggling array of their incredible works.
These include fantastical artistry of dramatic daring & dazzling delight (such as stained-glass windows whose subjects move & change colour of their own volition!), unlike any produced elsewhere in the Bikerverse, as well as absolutely astonishing inventions. Everything, in fact, from beating steampunk hearts & intricately-carved glass or wooden animal figurines brought to life via arcane alchemical processes, to self-contained micro-worlds (even some micro-universes!) housed inside snowglobe-like glass spheres small enough to be held in a human hand & bona fide originally full-sized shipping vessels (not tiny models made from matchsticks!) that had been inexplicably miniaturised, then similarly encased within diminutive glass globes or bottles - plus so much more!
So prepare to be astounded & enthralled as you pay a virtual visit via this present gallery of NightCafe Biker pictures to the marvellous, miraculous Glass Planet, Vitreosa, a world of wonders beyond even the most inventive of imaginations!
