To me, there has always been something marvellous about libraries & something magical about clocks, but quite a few of the ones encountered by the NightCafe Bikers during their pan-Bikerverse travels take these concepts to wholly incredible dimensions, in every sense!
So here is a gallery devoted to just a selection of these fantastical examples - everything from libraries with living books, mysterious manuscripts & their leonine guardians to cosmic clocks, arcane chronometers & their ballerina spirits. As for the final, whimsical picture of a little boy enraptured by his discovery of an enchanted library hidden inside the trunk of a fairytale tree, this was inspired by a daydream that I experienced long ago when a small boy myself, spending a golden summer afternoon happily perusing the tree's multitude of multicoloured volumes, bathed in streams of sunlight pouring inside the trunk from the bright sun directly overhead. Good memories!
