As the author of two published volumes of poetry (Star Steeds and Other Dreams, and More Star Steeds and Other Dreams), a selection of which (together with some later poems too) can also be read online in my Star Steeds poetry blog (click here to access it), a short time ago I was inspired by this present pictorial biker art blog of mine to write my very first biker-themed poem - 'The Midnight Biker', which tells of a sinister supernatural biker who seeks to steal and ride away with our vital life-force, our very soul, while we lie asleep at night.
