Ever since L. Frank Baum first wrote about the magical land of Oz more than a century ago in his classic novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900), our own world has been familiar with such Oz-visiting or Oz-inhabiting characters as Dorothy Gale, the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodman, the Wicked Witch of the West, Glinda the Good Witch, the Munchkins, the Flying Monkeys, and of course the Wizard himself, together with a great many more who appear in the numerous sequels that he subsequently wrote. Yet, strangely, Baum failed to make any mention of Oz's sizeable contingent of biker residents, not to mention the continuous influx of biker tourists to this enchanted realm. Consequently, in an attempt to redress such a long-overlooked, shameful situation - after all, Oz as a whole and the Emerald City in particular owe much of their financial stability to the revenue that they derive from the considerable earnings of their biker citizens and the appreciable cash spent here by their two-wheeled tourists - I have created a series of three galleries highlighting the truly brilliant bikers of Oz! And here's the first one.
