What better day than Boxing Day to present the first of three multicoloured galleries devoted to a band of bikers from our world visiting the surreal rarefied realm of Boxtoropolis, which is a magical sovereign city state populated not only by plenty of ordinary bikers just like themselves but also by all manner of bizarre unclassifiable beasts, immortal golden-gowned nymphs, blue kittens with pink bows & beautiful particoloured boxes - lots & lots & lots of beautiful particoloured boxes, waiting eagerly to be unwrapped & their exceedingly curious contents revealed?

And that is not all. As I'll reveal fully in the third of my three Boxotropolis galleries, the band of bikers soon discover that this magical land is, uniquely, a bikerocracy. That is to say, as well as being home to many ordinary bikers Boxotropolis is also ruled exclusively by bikers - but no ordinary ones. These ruling bikers have attained a state of physical & mental perfection in every conceivable way, from towering height & cerebral omniscience to flawless physique & physiology. Some of them even have wings. They are, literally, supreme Superbikers! I've included here a few pix of the visiting band of bikers meeting some of Boxotropolis's Superbikers, but look out for their very own gallery, coming very soon!

Incidentally, in case you're wondering whether the blue kittens with punk bows have any significance - yes, they do. They were inspired by the following delightful birthday card that my mother gave to me on my birthday when I was 11 years old & which I loved so much that I've kept it ever since - thanks Mom, how I wish that you were still here with me today.
