However, it is most commonly worn in combination with leather, as in a denim jacket cut-off worn on top of a fully-sleeved black leather biker jacket coupled with faded well-worn denim jeans, notably Levis or Wranglers, and particularly during very hot summer weather when black leather jeans, although much more practical from a safety standpoint, are simply too hot for comfort, especially if a biker is planning a significant amount of walking after reaching their destination by motorbike.
