As regular viewers of my blog will readily recall, I've uploaded several galleries exploring various futuristic themes, so here's another one. An ever-popular sci fi motif is the existence of flying cars in the not-too-distant future, so why not flying motorbikes too? I decided to depict this surreal scenario in two very different but complementary ways - airborne (even interstellar!) motorbikes but within a nominally realistic future, and skyborne motorbikes within a fantasy steampunk-inspired future (as you'll have seen from a number of earlier galleries here, steampunk has an abiding fascinatiion for ne). So here in this intermingling of images is a virtual flotilla of futuristic flying motorbikes!
