We've already met Phaethon (click here and here), Greek mythology's renegade sun demi-god & daredevil who absconded from Mount Olympus long ago to re-invent himself as a rebel biker (and longstanding mate of mine) living it large amid the decorative albeit decadent delights of Fantasyland. We've also encountered a decidedly diverse selection of other, frequently fantastical bikers who inhabit this extraordinary realm (click here). But there is one additional Fantasyland fraternity of bikers of whom we have still to make their acquanitance, and yet it is the most important one of all Namely, the Biker Guardians of Fantasyland.
As their name suggests, these two-wheeled protectors of this spectacular, surreal world steadfastly & tirelessly patrol its hinterlands and interior alike, questing for and qualling all potential threats to the harmony, tranquility, and magical equilibrium that has existed here since time immemorial, which they accomplish via their own secret but singularly successful methods & measures. The precise nature of these remains undisclosed, but suffice it to say that there have never been any repeat offenders, so whatever it is that the Guardians do to would-be transgressors, it is undeniably effective! Anyway, in this present gallery we are finally granted a rare, privileged glimpse of Fantasyland's daunting Biker Guardians on duty - so if you were thinking of causing any trouble here, think again!
