By definition, the Bikerverse is home to innumerable bikers, and a fair few of them exist on Biker Earth. Moreover, although bikers are renowned for their prowess in repairing their own machines, there are times when the faults needing to be fixed are beyond even their abilities. That's when it's time to call in the pros, which don't get any more expert than this planet's much-lauded (indeed, virtually-venerated), meticulously-trained & fully-qualified professional motorbike mechanics - the immeasurable value of their technical skills prized as treasure beyond pearls by all bikers.
But none rate higher in the opinion of those who have sought their globally-renowned skills than the two motorbike mechanics featured in this present gallery. Namely, Bomber & his trusty assistant Lucas. They met & became best mates during their long, arduous & infamously painstaking apprenticeship, spanning several years but which all who wish to become professional motorbike mechanics must pass, striving ceaselessly to obtain those immensely-coveted, priceless certificates confirming that they have successfully qualified in one of the most acclaimed professions on Biker Earth
After graduating, Buster worked alongside his father, also a higly-regarded motorbike mechanic, in his motorbike repairs garage, but once his father was satisfied with Bomber's prowess, he retired & relinquished ownership of the garage to Buster. He in turn lost no time in taking on his best mate, Lucas, as his assistant, and they've worked together ever since, in two separate garages both owned by them, and acquiring an unrivalled reputation for exemplary workmanship. Indeed, it's often said that what these two don't know about motorbike mechanics isn't merely not worth knowing - in fact, it doesn't exist!
So here, as my tribute & thanks to motorbike mechanics everywhere, but especially to those who have come to my rescue in the past, not to mention the various kindly bikers who have stopped on the road to offer their knowledgeable assistance after spotting that my bike had broken down (the biker brotherhood at its very best), here is a gallery showcasing Bomber & Lucas, at work & at rest in their garages. Incidentally, Bomber's real name is actually Matt, but as a child one of his junior school teachers jokingly dubbed him the Blonde Bombshell on account of his eyecatching, riotous head of luxuriant long blonde hair, a name that his schoolmates soon shortemed to Bomber, and which has remained his nickname ever since.
