Anticipating whether a given subject, whatever it may be, is going to prove popular among its intended audience - and even beyond - is seldom an easy task. Just ask advertising agencies given the unenviable assignment of attempting to promote a new or revived product & render it appealing to the masses. And so it has proved with this blog's galleries. My 200th gallery iwas a listing of the all-time Top Ten most popular galleries so far uploaded within my blog, based upon their respective hits counts (click here to view this listing), and when compiling it I had no idea whatsoever which galleries it would contain, other than expecting my very first gallery, in which I introduced this then brand-new blog of mine, unveiled the Bikerverse in which it is set, and presented a selection of images to show readers what to expect from it, to rate highly based upon curiosity value alone. And sure enough, it topped the listing.
But what would be at #2? Hoping to guesstimate that was another matter entirely. Yet when I begqn totalling the hits count for each gallery, I soon discovered that one particular gallery's count soared far above any of the others' - namely, 'The Midnight Biker' (click here to view it). Uploaded by me on 28 May 2025, its gallery was inspired by a poem of the same title that I'd recently written and had uploaded earlier that same day to my online poetry blog 'Star Steeds and Other Dreams' (click here to read that specific poem, and here to access my poetry blog containing it). My poem told of a sinister supernatural leather-clad biker that infiltrates the dream world of unwary sleepers and seeks to steal their vital life-force, their very souls, so that whereas it then becomes even more powerful, its tragic victims never wake up.
So, take care when next you slumber, and should your dreams be visited by a louche, insouciant, leather-clad biker with menacing smile & mesmerising eyes who points to the floor where you will kneel obediently while he drains your dreams & then your entire life-force from you - wake up!!
More of my AI biker images next time!
