MICHAEL JOHN DOLITTLE - BIKER & ANIMAL LINGUIST

An AI-generated image of Mike as both biker & animal linguist, created by RebelBikerDude using Magic Studio

Back on 30 January 2025, in only the second gallery posted by me in what was then my brand-new biker art blog, I introduced my very first AI-generated biker character - Mike (click here to view that gallery). Mike is an extremely enthusiastic, hardcore biker when not at work - but what exactly is his profession when at work? If I reveal his full name, the answer to that question may well become clear - Michael John Dolittle.

Yes indeed, Mike is none other than the little-publicised son of the late, great Doctor John Dolittle - the unassuming but unequivocal animal linguist & communicator par exellence. Moreover, from a very early age, albeit one that was deliberately shieded from public scrutiny by his father, Mike too learned how to talk to the animals, great and small, loquacious and taciturn. Consequently, after having qualified like him at university as a veterinary surgeon, when his father (and also shortly afterwards his father's biographer/patron Hugh Lofting) passed away Mike not only took over his very sizeable veterinary practice, employing a team of like-minded, zoologically-educated bikers as assistants (including his longstanding best biker buddy Jeff (click here to view Jeff's introductory gallery), but also continued his unique researches into animal linguistics. So here is a gallery of images portraying Mike just as his father had always been, surrounded by a vast array of animal friends, but with a number of his beloved motorbikes very much in evidence too - once a biker, always a biker!

Incidentally, the pix in this gallery (all of them created by me using Magic Studio) are among the relatively few examples in this biker art blog of mine in which the central biker character/s (Mike in this gallery) may not attract as much attention from viewers as the background elements, on this occasion in the shape of the animals. This is because many of these AI-generated creatures are truly bizarre in appearance - not matching any species known to science, or resembling impossible crossbreeds of wholly distinct, disparate species, or displaying all manner of anatomical anomalies and ambiguities, as you'll see if you scrutinise them closely. For me, therefore, this makes these particular images among my all-time favourites that I've created so far using AI image-generation programs, especially as their extraordinary forms did not result from any of my verbal prompts but arose instead directly and entirely from the 'minds' of the programs themselves.

More of my AI-created biker images next time, with a second Biker/Dolittle-themed gallery coming soon!
