BIKERS CELEBRATING SUMMERWEEN AS ONLY BIKERS CAN!

I recently learned about an annual celebration that has apparently been gaining momentum for several years, yet which somehow had entirely passed me by, unnoticed & unknown, until now. Its name? Summerween.

As indicated by its name, Summerween is basically a Halloween-type celebration of spookiness but held during the warm summer months, whereas traditional Haloween is of course held on 31 October. Principally celebrated in the USA, it originated in an 2012 episode entitled 'Summerween' of the Disney animated TV show Gravity Falls, but by the early 2020s real-life Summerween parties had begun to occur, normally held on or near 22 June each year, becoming a mainstream event in 2024, and receiving prominent media coverage for the first time in 2025.

As with Halloween parties, those attending Summerween events often dress up as ghosts, skeletons, witches & monsters, but the setings for such meriment tend to be ones traditionally associated with summer parties, such as the beach, swimming pools & suchlike. Music & dancing play a prominent part at such occasions, and plenty of summer-type party food & liquid refreshment feature too!

Bikers certainly know how to enjoy themselves & have a good time, so although I wasn't aware of Summerween when it took place across the States back in June, this continuing spate of summer heatwaves occurring here in the UK & elsewhere around the globe provided me with the perfect excuse to prepare a belated gallery depicting plenty of boisterous, roisterous, raucous & rowdy bikers (even those still suited & booted after coming straight to the beach straight immediately finishing work!) celebrating Summerween as only bikers can! And here it is!
