My all-time favourite vampire movie is 'The Lost Boys', directed by Joel Schumacher and released in 1987 by Warner Bros. Set in the fictional seaside town of Santa Carla, California, it features a gang of leather-jacketed biker vampires as this movie's title characters, with Kiefer Sutherland giving a very assured, vibrant performance as their quintessentially cool, blonde-haired leader, David, oozing mesmerising malevolence from every pore.Throw in a scintillating soundtrack too, and you can readily see why I enjoy this movie so much.
