BIKERS VS SHELOB, THE GIANT SPIDERS OF MIRKWOOD & OTHER MONSTROUS MEGA-ARACHNIDS!! - GALLERY #8 IN MY LOTR/BIKERS CROSOVER SERIES

An AI-generated image of a valiant biker elf bravely opposing Shelob, one of Middle-Earth's many monstrous mega-spiders; image created by RebelBikerDude using Dream Lab

Beginning at the Dawn of Time with Ungoliant, an evil primordial spirit that assumed the form of a gargantuan spider, Middle-Earth and beyond have always been plagued by giant spiders - far bigger, far more venomous, and therefore far more dangerous to humans & elves than any of their more familiar, much smaller modern-day descendants, especially on account of their inordinately lengthy life-spans. But none is older or more feared there than Shelob, a mega-spider who for many millennia had existed in her dark foul-smelling labyrinthine lair in the mountainous pass of Cirith Ungol on the border of Mordor, strewn with the white bones of innumerable victims & festooned with countless enormous cobwebs as thick as sheet metal, for untold, incalculable ages, living only to bring death to all who encounter her.

Even the Ringbearer himself, the hobbit Frodo Baggins, was rendered close to death by Shelob's toxic bite, then cocooned by her for consumption, but fortunately his valiant companion & faithful friend, fellow hobbit Samwise Gamgee, succeeded in rescuing him, and stabbing Shelob so ferociously with Frodo's elvish sword, Sting, that the giant spider was finally forced to flee her long-term lair for parts unknown but here she may still exist today!

In earlier times, Frodo's uncle, Bilbo Baggins, had been part of an expedition to the Lonely Mountain when, while journeying through the aptly-named Mirkwood, he and his compaions were besieged by many giant spiders lurking amid its dark, shadowy depths, and it was only the sword Sting (which Bilbo later gave to Frodo) that had saved them - spiders cannot abide elvish weapons. These spiders were offspring of Shelob, and existed elsewhere too. Moreover, they still do, as will be revealed here!

Not surprisingly, Middle-Earth's human bikers & biker elves alike share an undying hatred for all arachnid monsters, slaying them whenever the opportunity arises. However, as the present gallery's two sequences of segued video clips above & dramatic selection of still images below will show, if human bikers visiting this realm from our world should happen to encounter any of these evil creatures, as a certain biker group did when ill-advisedly riding through Mirkwood not so long ago, their inexperience in dealing with them could prove perilous in the extreme! In any event, if you are an arachnophobe I seriously suggest that you look away right now, truly!
