LOTR & BIKERS! - GALLERY #1: WHAT IF THE LORD OF THE RINGS HAD BEEN A BIKER?

Happy 2026! Time to greet not only a new year, but also a major new project here on my blog! After devoting several galleries last year to my own biker-themed visual reinterpretations of Lewis Carroll's two classic Alice fantasy novels and L. Frank Baum's numerous classic Wizard of Oz fantasy novels, I decided to launch my blog into the New Year in style with my most ambitious series of galleries yet - by presenting my biker-themed interpretation of what for many is the greatest-ever work of fantasy-genre fiction. Yes indeed, nothing less than J.R.R. Tolkien's literary three-volume masterpiece, The Lord of the Rings (or LOTR hereafter for brevity), plus some input inspired by its equally renowned prequel novel, The Hobbit.

My concept for this series was to present various of the most famous LOTR characters either as being encountered by bikers visiting Middle-Earth from our own world or as actual bikers themselves, just like I had previously done with my Wonderland/Looking-Glass Land & Oz galleries. Needless to say, however, such a daunting undertaking, featuring far more characters than anything else that I've ever attempted in this blog, would require considerably more images and video clips in order to do it justice. Consequently, I've been preparing them throughout the recent festive season, and although I have by no means completed all that I am planning, I feel that I have now produced a sufficient number to begin posting some galleries, while I continue preparing further visuals for the remaining ones.

In any case, due to the vast quantity of characters involved, this LOTR  series of galleries is likely to run to many more than any previous series of mine here, which in turn risks inciting boredom among viewers if these galleries are all presented one after another. So what I've decided to do is intersperse them with other, unrelated, non-LOTR galleries. This means that it will take quite a lot longer to post all of them, but the upside of that couse of action is that it should assist in keeping their theme fresh & of continuing interest over time with viewers.

But where to begin? For me, it seemed logical to do so with the title character of Tolkien's trilogy - none other than the Lord of the Rings himself, i.e. Sauron aka the Dark Lord aka the Necromancer (as he is briefly referred to in The Hobbit).

So, what if Sauron had been a biker? Curious to discover how different AI image/video-generation programs would interpret this fundamental verbal prompt when depicting him accordingly, I have utilised no fewer than five - Magic Studio, Grok (i.e. Grok XAI), Grok Imagine, Dream Lab & Adobe Firefly. And all of them, though differing markedly from one another stylistically, have portrayed this complex, votal character in truly grandiose, grandstanding manner, as you will discover via this present gallery's eyecatching series of video-clip sequences (above) & images (below)!

More of my AI-created biker images next time, including lots more LOTR galleries!
